Add font to a new layer.

Create a new layer and change the colour by double clicking on the layer and then going to colour overlay and changing the colour.

Then click on the text layer and change the colour so it contrasts the background.

Add in an image that you would like to have underneath and move so it is under the black layer and the font layer.

Highlight the font layer and the black layer and right click and select merge layers.

By using the magic eraser tool, click on the text to remove the colour so the picture is visible.

To achieve
my target my research, planning and evaluation must be detailed, effectively communicated
and presented digitally, using a wide variety of formats. I need detailed
research into similar products and target audience and to show the process of
planning by including excellent work on shotlists, drafts, storyboards,
scripts, locations and props. I need to show full evidence of the research and
planning informing the construction process.
My
evaluation must reflect my excellent understanding of forms and conventions, an
understanding of the use of new media throughout the stages of production, the
way my ancillary and primary tasks combine effectively. There will be an
excellent understanding of the significance of audience feedback.
My
production work, across the formats, will demonstrates excellent creativity and
imagination as I seek to make them as convincing as possible and it will also
reflect my mastery in technical skills such as controlled use of the camera,
attention to framing, variety of shot sizes, close attention to mise-en-scène,
appropriate transitions and use of sound.
